About

A blueprint for who gets to build.

MCESP — the Marginalised Communities Entrepreneurship & Sustainability Programme — is the foundational curriculum and community action framework of the Kectil Program, built to bring structurally excluded people into entrepreneurship and sustainability on equal footing.

What MCESP is

Not a single programme. A framework others can build on.

MCESP identifies high-potential entrepreneurship opportunities in overlooked regions, explains the financial and legal groundwork people need before they can act on them, and connects individuals to real support — mentors, partners, and each other.

It runs as a phased, living framework: Idea, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation — starting as an active pilot in three regions and designed from day one to be scaled, adapted, and handed to new communities and regions over time.

The "Q" Factor

Our platform, Qvritti, takes its name from a word meaning sustainable livelihood and balanced profession. The "Q" stands for Quest, Question, and Curiosity — the belief that curiosity, not credentials, is the real starting point of every entrepreneur's journey.

Why it's bigger than one programme

A framework for social change, not a single fix

Entrepreneurship access is the entry point — but the barriers it addresses are structural, generational, and cultural. MCESP is built across four layers, so that closing the enterprise-ownership gap also shifts the conditions that created it.

Economic — access to opportunity

Practical, localized information on markets, finance, subsidies, and legal registration — the working knowledge that's usually passed down inside privileged networks and simply never reaches everyone else.

Institutional — access to backing

Partnerships with colleges, NGOs, mentors, and legal and financial professionals, so founders aren't navigating gatekeeping and bias alone.

Cultural — access to belief

Illustrated success stories reaching children long before they're old enough to apply for a loan, so that risk-appetite and ambition are built early, not retrofitted later.

Generational — access to continuity

A framework designed to outlast any single cohort — documented, evaluated, and handed forward so that each region's progress becomes the next region's starting point.

MCESP and Qvritti

The blueprint, and its digital engine

MCESP is the foundational blueprint, curriculum, and community action framework created under the Kectil Program to empower youth. Qvritti is its digital implementation platform — the product that carries MCESP's mission to people directly, region by region.

Where MCESP sets the direction, Qvritti is how it's actually delivered — as a self-sustaining platform built to keep funding the programme's long-term growth rather than depending on grants alone.
